December Market Update

2013 was a year of recovery for the real estate market. As you can see below, Bryan-College Station, specifically, has experienced a healthy growth rate and ended so well! The College Station real estate market is different from other markets. A&M brings students, faculty, researchers, etc. that are here for a few years and then move on. We basically have a four-year turnover. This has been a stabilizing factor in our market in the long term. 2014 is gearing up to be even better!   • $185,099 – Monthly average price of single sale, 8% higher than average in December 2012
  • 190 – Individual units sold, 42% more units sold than in December 2012
  • 125 – Homes sold between $100,000 and $250,000, 56% more sold than in December 2012
  • 25 – Homes sold between $250,000 and $500,000, 67% more than sold in December 2012
