About Emerald Forest
Just a short drive east off of Highway 6, Emerald Forest is just minutes away from shopping, dining, and state-of-the-art healthcare! It is a relatively large subdivision split up into two areas that straddle the Emerald Forest Park and Bee Creek. Easily accessed by Highway 6, the northern subdivision is located off of North Forest Parkway and the southern subdivision is located off of Emerald Parkway. Just 5 miles away from Texas A&M University, this neighborhood is perfect for anyone wanting to call Aggieland home!
The homes found here in the large 400+ single-family housing development of Emerald Forest were built in two different eras. Some of the homes were developed in the 1980s while the rest of the homes were completed in the early 2000s. Because of this distinct shift in time, you can find a mix of architecturally diverse homes, including single story ranch-style homes and two-story masonry estates comprising the area. Up and down the many cul-de-sacs of the area, you can find homes with sizes ranging from 2,200 square feet to over 5,000 square feet.
Within the Emerald Forest community are abundant amenities, including their own shaded park with playground equipment and walking trails through beautiful native plant sites, tennis courts, community pool, basketball court, and clubhouse with meeting spaces! Additionally, nearby is another park, the more spacious 15-acre Sandstone Park is set-up mainly with Little League fields and other practice soccer fields. Emerald Forest is zoned within the highly desired College Station ISD and proximity nearby many great schools, including College Hills Elementary School and A&M Consolidated High School.
With their easy access to Highway 6, the residents of Emerald Forest are just minutes away from a huge Walmart Supercenter for a one-stop shopping excursion! Across Highway 6, the residents of Emerald Forest also have easy access to Post Oak Mall, the Stephen C. Beachy Central Park, and an Academy Sports + Outdoors store. The Stephen C. Beachy Central Parks covers a huge 50-acres of sports fields, nature trails, playgrounds, covered picnic tables with built-in barbecue pits, community swimming pool, and two fishing ponds.
