Bryan-College Station has some really great parks, but there’s nothing else quite like what’s offered at Wolf Pen Creek Park & Amphitheater in College Station. While some parks are more suited to kicking back and relaxing, this one is designed to be a hub of activity year round.
Perfectly located on 63 acres in the middle of College Station, this multi-use park was designed around the creek where it gets its name. The creek winds through the park, running right next to the pond where the amphitheater sits. That’s right, the stage is actually on the water! The open-air venue has seating for 7,000 and includes lots of bathroom facilities. It hosts events and performances year round, including movie nights and back-to-school concerts (this year it featured country star Cody Johnson).
Surrounding the seating area is a 10-acre festival site, 2.7 miles of paved trails, and a frisbee golf course. There’s even a 2,000 sq ft rentable Green Room facility that can be used for meetings & events and includes catering space. There are also three nice dressing rooms to support scheduled events or concerts. You may be in town to look at homes in College Station or Bryan, but you won’t be disappointed with a side trip to Wolf Pen Creek Park to stretch your legs or plan your house shopping.
