When you explore my website you’ll find information on most of the established subdivisions in our community. I hope you find that resource helpful, but I think it is good to take a closer look at some of these neighborhoods to help you really get a feel for that area. Today I want to focus on one of the newest golf course communities in BCS: Traditions.

There are just some neighborhoods that you have to see with your own eyes to completely appreciate. Traditions is probably one of those neighborhoods. I know from my own experience as a Realtor that when you see “must see to appreciate” it doesn’t always mean something good! However, in this case it is absolutely true. Let me tell you why.

As hard as I may try, I can’t do justice to this community in a few words and pictures. You need to experience the feel of Traditions by spending some time here. As you drive along the winding roads you discover that this neighborhood was established in gently rolling hills. Many of the homes sit back and up off the street, making for some impressive views. Most homes are custom built with some of the finest builders in the area. There are large, majestic homes and smaller cottages & casitas. . . and everything in between. This is – simply put – a luxury community. As you drive around you’ll see exactly what I mean.

Once you’ve driven around, I would suggest that you park your car and take a walk. Next to the entrance on Villa Maria is a small, private neighborhood park with a beautiful pond. From there you can walk into the community and start to soak in just how beautiful this area is. There are footbridges across the creeks, some that run beside and through the fantastic Jack Nicklaus designed golf course (home to the Texas A&M golf teams). As you continue your walk you’re really going to notice those elevation changes I described above.

Whether you walk or drive, you want to be sure to make your way to the southernmost side of Traditions to the Lake Walk area. There you’ll find a larger lake bordered by the Stella boutique hotel as well as restaurants and coffee shops. I’ve talked about the area in a couple of other posts, so be sure to take a look at those.

Where can you find this amazing community in BCS? Traditions is located on the northwest side of Aggieland and is easily accessible from Harvey Mitchell Parkway, Villa Maria Road, and Highway 47. It is located just east of the Texas A&M Health Science Center and just a few miles from the RELLIS Campus. The location is fantastic!

You may be looking to relocate to Aggieland or maybe you already live here and are looking for a new home. Whatever the case, I think you should look closely at what Traditions has to offer. Let’s go together – you know I’d love to help! Shoot me a text or give me a call today!
