Pecan Trail Intermediate School
Recently opened in August 2017 and nestled next-door to Greens Prairie Elementary School, Pecan Trail Intermediate School is found at 4319 Greens Prairie Trail. Here, the fantastic administration and staff not only want to infuse their students with knowledge, they strive for them to live and grow in their halls and classrooms, learning how to thrive, find resiliency within themselves, and experience acceptance and belonging.

Serving over 600 of both 5th and 6th graders as part of the Owl family, Pecan Trail Intermediate ensures that each student receives a high-quality education through a series of passionate teachers, special programs, specialists, and additional faculty dedicated to student achievement.
Upholding their academic accountability in the community, this school not only met all of the measured standards and indicators by the TEA, but also exceeded them. Reflecting the other two intermediate schools in the CSISD, Pecan Trail Intermediate offers art, music, theatre, band, and orchestra as exciting electives for their students to take. Unique to this school’s fine arts department is their production of a yearly musical put on by their students, performing family favorites such as Peter Pan and Elf. Further encouraging their students to be eager about school, Pecan Trail Intermediate offers many before- and after-school clubs, as well as extra opportunities for community events and activities. Pecan Trail Intermediate offers book fairs and monthly spirit nights throughout the area for fundraising, some of these locations include Urban Air and Freddy’s so that students can enjoy themselves when benefitting their school!
Located on Greens Prairie Trail just off of Wellborn Road in south College Station, Pecan Trail Intermediate is situated nearby many popular amenities and subdivisions in the area. As south College Station is continuing to boom and expand, plenty of these subdivisions are also experiencing expansion to reflect their popularity. Some of these subdivisions include Woodlake, Sweetwater, Sweetwater Forest, and the rural Duck Haven and Bentwood Estates subdivisions.
