Greens Prairie Elementary School
Opened in August 2011, Greens Prairie Elementary School is located at 4315 Greens Prairie Trail in south College Station. Their mission, developed by administration, staff, and parents, is to “prepare all students for the 21st century by providing a learning environment that challenges students to think, create, and embrace learning so that each student can be successful now and in the future.”

With an enrollment of 680 students from prekindergarten up until 4th grade, the passionate faculty and staff here at Greens Prairie is dedicated to serving each and every student of the Mustang family.
To ensure that all students here at Greens Prairie achieve their maximum success, they facilitate a number of programs focused on life skills, speech, special education for students with disabilities, enrichment, dyslexia, early reading intervention, and other general resources. Outside of the classroom, this school offers additional afterschool activities for their students to participate in, such as Brave or Reach specifically aimed for 4th grade students. Recognized by the TEA, Greens Prairie Elementary also upholds their academic accountability in the community by having met all measured standards and indicators ranging from student progress to postsecondary readiness.
Neighboring Pecan Trail Intermediate School, Greens Prairie Elementary is just off of Wellborn Road. As one of the newer elementary schools in the CSISD, many popular and high-quality subdivisions are booming and growing in the area. Some of these neighborhoods include Woodlake, Sweetwater, Sweetwater Forest, and the rural Duck Haven and Bentwood Estates neighborhoods.
