About Forest Ridge Elementary School
Their philosophy and goals revolve around student individuality and valuing their unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs while ensuring positive engagement in their own learning process. The Forest Ridge mission is to have every student achieve academic success in a safe and supportive environment where, as they say, “once a Falcon, always a Falcon.”
Forest Ridge Elementary offers several unique programs to their students, including FLIP, a leadership opportunity for 4th graders, Head Start, a wonderful art program, spelling bees, technology integration into every classroom, and many more! The school itself is beautifully designed with a spacious gym, courtyard, and library spread across their 5 wings, which are each themed after a different region in Texas! To emphasize their community-based accountability, the TEA recognized that Forest Ridge met all of the measured standards for successful academic progress as a foundation for their future academic careers. This elementary school excels at accommodating the entire Falcon family with teachers, pathologists, and specialists on campus who specialize in dual language education, literacy and English language learning, speech disabilities, numeracy, dyslexia, and other resources to help every child achieve his or her individual potential.
Nestled between Greens Prairie Road and William D. Fitch Parkway, Forest Ridge is situated in the heart of the booming south College Station area. Surrounding the school are several amenities, including the Towerpoint shopping center, and popular neighborhoods, such as Castlegate and Castlegate 2.
