Creek View Elementary School
Creek View Elementary School recently opened in 2009 and is located at 1101 Eagle Avenue in South College Station. Home of the Gators, this elementary school enrolls kindergarten through 4th grade to be a part of the family atmosphere they strive to provide each and every one of their 585 students. Operating under their mission of providing a “safe and caring environment in which every child is respected and given the opportunity to grow and develop a desire for learning,” the faculty and staff ensure positive connections with the community, parents, students, and each other. As they say at Creek View, “it’s good to be a Gator!”
About Creek View Elementary School
To emphasize their academic accountability as a high-quality elementary school in the CSISD, the TEA recognizes that Creek View met the standards on all of the measured indicators with an additional recognition of being exemplary in the community. With exciting extracurricular activities such as fun runs, music programs, McTeacher’s nights, book fairs, Red Ribbon week, and many others, Creek View offers plenty of opportunities for students to enjoy school and interact with the community. Additional special programs within the school addresses students with dyslexia, and offers specialists in enrichment, math, reading, early intervention, and the Head Start program.
Situated next door to Cypress Grove Intermediate School and the similarly named Creek View Park, Creek View Elementary is sandwiched between Alexandria and Victoria Avenues. This elementary school is located in the heart of several popular South College Station neighborhoods, including Westfield Village, Dove Crossing, Edelweiss, and Sun Meadows. As for amenities, Creek View is just south down Graham Road from the Rock Prairie shopping center and Brazos Valley medical corridor, where you can find a Kroger, Starbucks, and two different medical centers.
