As most former students know, Aggieland hotels are going to fill up quickly this fall! Have you been thinking of buying something, but are worried about the costs? A client of mine is in the process of making a valuable gameday investment…this is a great idea!
They are purchasing a duplex! One half will be rented out, and the other half will serve as their permanent game day residence. There are some huge advantages to this. They will have income coming in that will offset the cost of their mortgage. Talk about the perfect landlord situation! The tenants would know their landlord well (because you would be in town often), and they would most likely take good care of the home knowing you could show up at any moment! I think it would be easy to rent out. Most tenants are going to appreciate that the attached unit will remain quiet the majority of the time. My clients are so excited!
I think this is a great idea!
