When you think of Bryan-College Station, you probably don’t think of things like hockey and ice skating. So you may be surprised to learn about Spirit Ice Arena. Believe it or not, Aggieland has an amazing indoor ice rink!
Making its debut in 2005 as “Arctic Wolf Ice Center,” this wonderful facility includes a regulation sized hockey surface. The facility – the only one within 100 miles of Aggieland – was renamed “Spirit Ice Arena” in 2012 and hosts the very accomplished Texas A&M club hockey team, winners of back-to-back Texas Collegiate Hockey Conference championships from 2019 to 2021.
Visitors to the arena have a wide range of enjoyable options, including classes for figure skating and hockey. There are public skate times most weekdays and weekends, plus there is a climbing wall and a party room. Guests can even book a snowball fight… year round!
